Kwadwo Adepa is a citizen of Kasawasa traditional area where the inhabitants abide strictly by the oral traditions of their homeland. As expected, his parents bring him up in the proper way. The boy gets to know a gaping loophole in the dos and don ts of the society and offers a solution but the authorities ignore him. At an annual colorful Afe Pa festival, two of the participants make grievous mistakes. The wrongdoers are charged with criminal offences and are put on trial. Confusion arises during the deliberation. To solve the problem, the youths agitate for the implementation of the suggestion of the intelligent boy. The elders resist the change. Conflict erupts. The citizens look to their traditional chief. Move with the Crowd, a satire of the oral traditions of an African community, spotlights a traditional chief who accedes to the popular demands of his people, even though he does not like some of the things that they want, in order to restore peace to the homeland.
